@alyssasullivan33: Day 16 of sharing my story & registry in hopes of reaching the people behind the BabyList It Forward movement 🩵 My car seat was recently recalled, so I’ve been back to square one trying to find a safe replacement. After what feels like DAYS of researching safety features, rotating seats, stroller compatibility, installation, reviews, and every little detail imaginable, I finally narrowed down exactly what I wanted. I’m sure other parents can understand just how taxing it is to research and make these decisions 😅 The closest match to what I’m looking for is the Maxi-Cosi rotating car seat, but unfortunately it’s outside of my single-mom budget 🥺 I’m a single, first-time mama who left my ex after experiencing DV, and healing from that while preparing for my rainbow baby has been a lot. I’m doing everything I can to provide for my baby boy on my own, and with October getting closer, I’m hoping to find some help with the items still on my registry. Anything that can help save me a little time, energy, or stress would mean so much — especially as I get closer to being able to focus solely on bonding with my baby boy when he arrives 🩵 I’m incredibly grateful for this mom community and everyone who has supported, shared, tagged, commented, or helped spread my story.
