My son got full tuition at NJIT, TCNJ and Rowan. Didn’t apply to Rutgers. 1500 SAT and 4.65 weighted GPA.

got a full ride to kean. never got a grade lower than an A- on any report card all 12 years of school. i was top 25 but don’t remember my exact gpa. did some volunteering hear and there, was the president of pride club for 2 years, and was on the board of directors for a non profit my friend started (actual 401c verified), did marching band my senior year

4.0 GPA , bad SAT score 😟💔 ( pls STUDY), was rlly involved with extracurricular activities, got a full ride to Rutgers Newark, promise it’s not a bad as ppl mentioned they tend to get more aid than New Brunswick, plus it’s cheaper, and if u wanna dorm, they’re way better than NB dorms 🥰

In 1969 got full scholarship to TCNJ( Trenton State College)….some kind of NJ state scholarship? - was just grateful for it!

i think getting a full ride is very dependent on your financial situation. i had 1270 sat (perfect math score) and like 112 weighted gpa and was graduating high school with 33 college credits from dual classes. president of art club, received NHS awards, and awards from other clubs, etc and i got a few thousand everywhere i applied but nothing close to a full ride i had a college savings plan my parents set up for me and schools saw that. out of high school i ended up going to community college on the NJ STARS scholarship for academic achievement which is free tuition for top 10% of graduates to community college. got my associates in two semesters, transferred to stockton into a dual program, i’m getting my BS in Accounting this semester and will have MS in Accounting two semesters later. Good luck, and do what makes sense financially. Apply for local scholarships even if they don’t seem like a lot, they will add up! Go to community college first to save money if you have to. employers care more about what your degree is in versus what school you went to unless it’s Ivy league

lmk if would you want mine for monmouth!! one of the msot expensive school in nj but it’s possible 😜✌🏻 (only thing i’m paying for is $6k for a dorm but other than that my tuition is covered!!)
