The railway project was done to protect Canada from the US. This isn’t the first time the US tried to take our country. Under McKinley we faced 50% tariffs as well and it didn’t end well for the US. Hang in there everyone!

You are so right! I used to work in a law firm, in corporate law, and this is how business is done all over the world. All these corporations and pension funds that have so much money and are literally searching to invest in something that has a high probability of growing their money. And you know what is good about this? Because they are investing, they want that investment to grow, and they want that business to be successful. They are not businesses owned by one family who will dominate, and maybe even steal from the funds. They are an international group of intelligent people who honestly want to make an investment to make their money grow. And when you think about it, who in Canada has that much money to invest in an airport expansion or a railroad expansion from one province to another for example? No one. Perhaps only the likes of Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos – but even them would be reluctant because why put most of your money in one basket? This is why international corporations and pension funds is the way to go. They have the money. They are truly invested in their projects.
