My son? Basically potty trained himself. Showed him what the potty was how to use and how to clean himself and it was over. Now. My daughter? She will pee in the toilet all day long. But that girl will poop in my hallway before she poops in the toilet😂😭

My son got the pee training pretty easily. Poop was another issue and we found out it was because he’s got slow moving bowels. When he’d relax and fall asleep he’d poop in the overnight diaper. His doc suggested we do a dose of restoralax each morning and it was a game changer.

Potty training my daughter was way better than my son. I think it's just 1st born vs 2nd born. I'll update in a year on the 3rd but it can't be worse than the 2nd 🫠

my son is 4 and just potty trained this spring/early summer. He got peeing.onnthe potty down real quick but was afraid/ unsure about poop. He knew when he had to go and would tell us when he was going in his pull-ups. We got there eventually but it took me deciding that I was done buying pull-ups for him to get it.

It’s so hard momma. If I can give any advice from someone who’s a nurse that worked for a gastroenterologist. The worst thing for anyone including kids is sitting on the toilet longer than 10mins. The bowls need to be trained that sensation = go and if they can’t go, sitting increased swelling in the perineum and throws off the the brain/bowel communication. You should only sit to poop when you have to go. According to a board certified surgeon/bowel specialist. This is no way medical advice or mom advice. Just a nurse passing on what I learned on the job (and mom of 7) 💕💕💕

I potty trained my twin toddlers this summer. It was a nightmare. I worked with her first and she got pee down. He was a nightmare. Took two weeks to have some success. And now he’s got it down and now she won’t poop. Solidarity!!

I couldn’t get my daughter to poop in the potty for the life of me. My mom came to stay with her and older brother when I had baby. Grandma had her potty trained in less than a day. Apparently all it took was chocolate chip cookies 😂😂🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Girl all my kids were terrified of pooping on the toilet to the point they'd go 10 days holding it in. We were under doc advise through everything. They all eventually just randomly decided they could do it.

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter refuses to poop in the potty. She says “Get me a diaper”. She will hold it and not go. You will get there.

I resorted to the m&m thing where if he pooped on the potty he got a few but if I changed a poop I got the m&m and it worked❤️i feel you friend

I’ve always heard that girls are so much easier to potty train…after 2 boys and then a girl I can confirm that is absolute BS. My girl was so hard. She had pee accidents almost daily for months no matter what I did and thought it was funny.

My daughter trained herself overnight. We were passively taking her to the potty and one day she was just done with diapers. Overnight and everything. My son is 2.5 and he isn’t the slightest bit interested 😅😅😅
