i mean, using natural neurons to repair our neurons does kinda check out. There may not be any science behind it but i like to believe that neurosystems are just mushrooms in a very very tight beneficial parasitic relationship with practically any lifeform on this planet. and since it's been going on so long it's no longer a separate species living inside us but we evolved into one

When I was on chemo, the wet laundry was too cold for me to touch to transfer to the dryer. It was winter and the cold air was impossible to breathe. It was just another thing in a long list of upsetting side effects. I love that there might be a treatment for that!

I have a psychologist friend working in these studies and it is fascinating 😳 this dissociation (like ketamine) to assist in processing the pain and the patient being separate but connected. Hugely important for chronic pain 🤔
