All you have to do is ask one simple question: How do you feel about Israel? Then the immediate follow-up question is: Do you feel like the same thing should happen in the USA? The most poetic thing about this country is, I don't know if it's paradoxical or ironic. But the most colloquial expression in this nation when ranking things is to refer to Mount Rushmore. But to describe the United States as a nation, you can't ignore Indigenous sovereignty. And we must reckon with the fact that United States v. Sioux Nation of Indians is a thing. And each of the men on Mount Rushmore hated the same people who are fighting for that piece of their land back. At some point we have to realize that the reason why: “western Marxist” specifically in settler societies obsession with individualism is because most people refuse to address colonialism.

"What is needed is a realization that power without love is reckless and abusive, and that love without power is sentimental and anemic. The right values innocence and as long as you keep the blinders on, you are innocent. Once you get out of that mindset it means you have to always be living in discomfort and they want to find a way of balancing that constant discomfort while retaining that sense of innocence that was removed through learning. They should be leading with love, but instead is just seeking protection from their own knowledge.
