‘Encore’ has a beautiful ring to it… because the best stories deserve an encore… and again… the legacy of our lead mare Lyric will live on ✨ Foal coats are amazing to watch because they change colour. Black horses are usually born mousey grey with brownish legs, to act as camouflage in grass. In about 3 months, Encore will start dropping his fluffy (super soft) hair and it will turn into a beautiful black colour. His white markings - his white face and front white socks (and 2 small white back leg anklets) will stay white. He also has a perfect colour split hoof on the back foot - half black, half white 😍 The white markings are referred to as being ‘blingey’ and he is certainly that! A horse born in the year of the fire horse, at the peak of the ‘Epsilon Perseids’ meteor shower ☄️ He’s going to be a very good looking, strong horse! But… I’m more excited about getting to know who he is and being by his side, to guide him into becoming the horse he’s destined to be. I’m so unbelievably proud of Rhythm (his half sister, the mare that loves hugs) and the kind, gentle soul she is ❤️ I know this video is very different to usual but I hope you enjoy seeing this miracle of how Encore has joined our herd.
