For all the people who are trying to figure out why other people are like this or feel confident that they can “change” an unemotional person…. That rarely ever happens…. And if you think that it only happens in romantic relationships think again…. They can’t even show emotion to their children. I had a kid with someone like this …. I spent years trying to figure out why he is the way he is…. I realized it Will never work and I to this day have to protect my son’s emotions just so he doesn’t end up like his dad….. it feels like single parenting. People like this rarely ever change as this is almost always tied to another social/personality disorder
