The album is inspired by 2010s urban pop music. That’s the sound she was going for. The electro pop sound from her EP is so stale and oversaturated bc so many artists are doing it right now. She had to do something different and more accessible. That’s the point of being a big pop star.

I think it's ironic considering people made her a direct opposite to Katseye. someone who was a "challenge" to the system that makes Katseye what it is (which she still can be yk, nuanced conversation) just to end up in another spectrum of this same thing hmmm

It's a decent pop album if we're not pulling a comparison but I get your point. ADELA most likely wants to be one of the main pop girls and to be an experimental pop girlie might not harbour a striking result for her ambition.

Maybe it’s just mean but I never kinda tethered a particular sound to her like even on her ep go and sex on the beat are very different and those are different from say machine girl I just find it odd to assume that an artists entire sound will be what her first four songs sound like
