It can be damgerous in certain areas of cities. But for the most part, you will be safe from the locals. We know when ppl arenโt from here and tend to leave them alone. If you go looking for trouble, you will find it, like going to the poorest areas. But normal life is pretty safe as long as you arenโt deliberately going into sketchy areas, and you will know if itโs unsafe because there are obvious signs that youโre in a dangerous area, like having bars on windows and stuff. But if youโre visiting, we love foreigners, so you will more than likely be treated very well and should have an enjoyable experience here. We will usually let foreigners know if they have found themselves in a bad area, and tell you places to avoid, and if you avoid those places, then you will not find yourself in bad positions.

Americans tend to be more open about their problems and showing it on media. But thereโs so many more people in our country than all of Europe combined. So bad things do happen but itโs not a regular basis which is why we focused on them to stop them in the future. But nobody lives in fear on a day-to-day basis I will correct myself. Most people do not live in fear on a basis.
