My name is Yassine, I’m 16 and I’m from Edmonton, Alberta. I’m really interested in getting into the oil field when I’m older and making as much money as I can while I’m young. For anyone who works in the oil field, how would you recommend getting started? What should I do right now, what jobs should I look for, and is going to school worth it or can you get in without it? Also, how much can you realistically make once you get some experience? Any advice would be appreciated.

pipeline pays 12 hours but is more like a 10 hour day. truck pay is a wash because you beat it up, LOA can work if you manage your money.
