i truly feel like at the end of the day if you truly believe that jesus died for you there’s truly nothing else that needs to be done because nothing is greater then what jesus did on the cross even if we make mistakes or even struggle with continuing to make mistakes i feel as long as we feel conviction and believe that jesus died and washed us with his blood we’ll be okay

Those in Christ have a new identity, god says those in Christ r perfect, clothed in righteousness freely thru faith in Christ so I know Philip isn’t talking to believers, cause if he is he’s talking to the old dead identity which makes no sense and will keep believers from growing in their faith. I also know he’s not talking to unbelievers cause the message of Christ is fooolishness to them. So who is Philip preaching to? Does Philip want believers stuck in the old dead identity cause god don’t, it’s why Christ did wut he did? If you’re in Christ you’re made new, sin has been dealt with, so rest in your new identity, or listen to Philip and fight sin that’s already been defeated.
