I have travelled a ton with my 8 month old, including a trip just last week. I don’t think it’s selfish at all! You just have to fully change your expectations. You no longer get that unlimited full day that you used to. Now you go back to the hotel for nap time and maybe pass the baby back and forth with your partner during meal times. I can say from experience that even with the slower pace it is so beautiful and worth it. Be ready to be much more on alert and less relaxed and also so much more fulfilled and happy when you experience everything with them.
