As illustrated, the fastening is of the separated (indirect) elastic type. The iron baseplate is secured by screw spikes engaging pre-embedded plastic sleeves; wedge gauge blocks are used for gauge adjustment. The iron baseplate is provided with T-bolt seatings, and the T-bolts tighten the spring clips which clamp the rail. The clips are manufactured from spring steel of 14 mm diameter, delivering a high toe load.
