why does this feel so different this year its like we have woken up and so much time has passed and no one remembers but I do. I knew instantly the number of drones was the same as the lives lost 😭

I wake up to people telling to the Major of NYC to not attend the commemoration, I was pissed of, then I red the comments under a video similar to this. I cried, I found out about the rescue dogs getting depression out of thinking of “not doing a good job” because they found mostly 💀 bodies. I was sad. Then I watched a documentary about the tragedy. The words said, the decisions that were made made me crash out, I am so mad at how it happened and I still don’t have an answer for the “Why? Why it happened?” And I’ll never have answers, I know that. I learned about building 7 and two more that were just below the Twin Towers and about the pentagon, 125 more lives to add to that count and all the people who suffered from ilnesses due to the toxic air that Giuliani lied about not being toxic. I was born in Albania and raised in Italy but NYC will always have a spot in my heart. Such a beautiful city not matter what President the USA is under. 🗽❤️🤍💙

I still remember seeing a cover on a times magazine, the day after the attacks, of a firefighter carrying out a dead child.. I was only 9 years old at the time and I'll never forget

Ich war 38. Und ich glaube, dass jeder, der einen Hauch von Empathie im Herzen trägt, noch genau weiß, wo er an diesem Tag gewesen ist und was er gemacht hat. Ich habe die darauffolgenden Tage kaum geschlafen und musste jede Doku im Fernsehen sehen, weil ich es nicht glauben konnte, dass es etwas derart Böses in dieser Welt gibt. Noch heute treten mir SOFORT Tränen in die Augen, wenn ich diese Bilder sehe. Ruhet in Frieden, all ihr Seelen, die an diesem Tag ihr Leben verloren habt. 🕊️🙏🏻

I think they should move the lights to the reflective pools, so then its at the true location where the towers once stood, but its still a great reoccurring tribute. And those drones are brilliant 👏🏻
