@amyxsjournal: Taking charge of my own life has been so empowering. I stopped waiting for someone else to decide what we should do. Now, if I want to go somewhere, learn something, or try something new, I just make a plan and do it! It's amazing how much more I get done when I'm managing my own time and keeping track of deadlines and plans myself, instead of relying on reminders from others.
