HOW I BUILT ABS * Compound lifts like deadlifts, squats, and bench presses have been the foundation of my training. These movements recruit multiple muscle groups at once, build strength, and lay the groundwork for core stability. They're time-efficient, functional, and have helped me develop overall muscle definition without needing endless isolation exercises. Progressive Overload Progressive overload is at the core of how I train. I'm always aiming to lift a little heavier, squeeze out one more rep, or push with better form. It's not about maxing out every week, it's about consistent, gradual improvements that signal your body to adapt, grow, and get stronger over time. Conditioning 4-5x a Week Conditioning is a non-negotiable for me. I train 4-5 times a week, mixing up intensity, duration, and style whether it's interval sprints, CrossFit-style metcons, or low-impact endurance work. Keeping it varied not only challenges my body but also keeps my sessions fun and functional. Growing Up Active Movement has always been in my blood. I grew up sprinting, playing competitive sports, and always chasing the next challenge. That athletic foundation shaped the way I train now. It taught me discipline, drive, and how to work hard for the things I want. Balanced Relationship with Food Food isn't something | punish or restrict myself with, it's how I fuel performance, recovery, and energy. I've worked hard to build a healthy, balanced relationship with food: eating enough to support training, enjoying what I eat, and not stressing over the occasional treat. It's a long-term game, not a quick fix. Genetics Genetics will always play a role. They influence how we build muscle, how we store fat, and even how we respond to training. But they're only part of the equation. The way I look and move now is the result of years of consistent effort, discipline, and a lifestyle that supports my goals. Genetics gave me the blueprint, I built the house #core #crossfit
