The Gonzales family moved from the Philippines to Australia for a better life. Teddy became a successful immigration lawyer, and together with Lourdes, they worked hard to give their children, Sef and Claudine, a good future. But behind the family's successful image, Sef was struggling at university and had been lying about his achievements. He feared losing his car, privileges, and eventually his inheritance after his parents discovered his poor grades. On July 10, 2001, Claudine, Lourdes, and Teddy were killed one by one inside their Sydney home. The crime scene was staged to look like a home invasion and hate crime. Racist graffiti was painted on the wall, belongings were disturbed, and a window screen was manipulated. But detectives found that the evidence didn't match Sef's story. They discovered bloody footprints, evidence of the staged break-in, and later information from Sef's computer showing he had searched for and ordered poisonous seeds. Just a week before the murders, Lourdes had been hospitalized with severe poisoning. Investigators also discovered that after the killings, Sef disposed of evidence, met a friend, went out to eat and play arcade games, then later returned home and claimed he had discovered his murdered family. Police eventually concluded that Sef had killed his father, mother, and sister. In 2004, he was convicted of all three murders and sentenced to three life sentences without parole. He repeatedly appealed over the years, but his earlier attempts were rejected. More than 20 years later, in August 2025, he was granted the right to appeal his sentence based partly on claims involving PTSD. His murder convictions, however, still stand. #fyp #scarystories #scary #realstory #truestory #foryou #fypシ゚ #truecrime
