It’s not graphics though. It’s a live filter that runs over your game… it’s not advancing anything

Most of the DLSS 5 hate really just comes down to people not liking AI. A lot of what people are judging right now is modded into games that were never designed for it, without the developers actually tuning the strength, masks, style, or where it should even be used. Obviously it’s not gonna look perfect every time. This is basically the worst DLSS 5 is ever gonna be. It’s still early and experimental, and it’s already impressive. Better models, proper game integration, smarter rendering techniques and future GPU optimizations are only gonna make the image quality and performance better. This is the next generation of real-time graphics, whether a game is going for photorealism, anime, cel shading, or anything else. It gives developers more tools to push whatever art style they’re actually aiming for. A lot of these complaints are going to age horribly.

Yeah no. Graphics and a filter are 2 massive different things. It all looks the same. Art style over graphics every time. But if we can have both at the same time. That’s when it’s in beautiful
