I really think we’ve lowered the bar way too much when it comes to what we’re willing to excuse in the name of “love.” If a man calls you stupid,cheap tells you at your lowest “If it wasn’t you, it could’ve been someone else"tells you dog-tail grass suits you instead of flowers, treats you like someone who is easy to control, doesn’t trust you, and repeatedly insults you whenever he’s jealous… and we’re still saying, “But he loves her, he didn’t mean it”? Please. 🙄 He meant those words when he said them. He chose them because he knew they would hurt. Love doesn’t magically turn disrespect into romance. And if the standard is now “he can humiliate you as long as he loves you”, then the problem isn’t that her breakup was exaggerated — our standards are.

if they haven't changed Luke character in serie.. maintain like novel .. I think in one point nobody was going to see this series . and they will receive a lot of criticism...... I am happy they made changes.....

Right? A lot of viewers are mad about flora saying that their relationship was filthy and disgusting. Like? In the novel, they are only fvckbuddy. Why are you’ll so upset about it 😆 but yeah, the drama says they’re in a relationship so it’s understandable reaction for the viewers.

and the whole “ugly disgusting relationship”, it was valid because in novel, they were in 4 years of friends with benefit relationship + 2 years as official couple. but when they decided to change the plot in drama to 6 years of official relationship, they shouldn’t be using that same dialog no matter how iconic it is

It's not overacting, it's the "last straw"! Yes, it may seem like the reason isn't that big, but he's an assh* in any reaction and he couldn't explain to her! Yes, she did the right thing! It was "therapeutic" for him to suffer and realize that the world doesn't revolve around him!😂

not to mention, he went out of his way to make her sleep with him basically seduced/ manipulated her into sleeping with him cuz he knew she likes him. flora was basically an open book in the novel and he fully controlled the tone of the relationship.

That’s what I have been saying since day 1. Drama Luke was 100x nicer than the novel Luke except they had the same foul mouth. If they were going to make changes in almost all of the characters then they should’ve done the same with Flora. They kept all her actions and reactions the same, which obviously made sense in the novel because Luke was an absolute a$$hole, but drama Luke made efforts for their relationship, called her his girlfriend, was affectionate, introduced her to his friends hence some of her actions seemed extreme and out of place and that’s why so many people were calling her the red flag and toxic one. They messed with the timelines a lot too because she met with her ex after they’d broken up when she brought up her wish list, but in the drama they made Flora look bad like she was emotionally cheating for hugging and having dinner with her ex.

Love you and your thoughts, girl! 🫶🏻 I feel like some things didn’t make sense because Flora’s actions in the drama were still written based on the novel Luke, not the Luke we actually got in the adaptation. If they were going to change Luke, Kitty, and the others so much, they could’ve adjusted Flora’s character as well so her actions and reactions would actually fit the drama’s version of the story. I kinda like how Flora was always ready to end it all the only part about her that annoyed me is her indecisiveness and not knowing her worth so I was really happy when she finally put her foot down..Luke was verbally abusive I hated him sometimes all she needed was comfort I’m surprise I actually cried when he broke down with his friends.. this was a really good cdrama
