My derm said she usually prescribes tret or azelaic acid after treatment .

I agree with most of this but u need a cleanser without actives actually to not disturb ur barrier especially on retinol days / yes u can use salicylic acid face wash but only like 2 times a week not daily too much

The whole time I was on Accutane, I didn’t wash my face, but now my doctor told me not to use any face washes with active ingredients in that I don’t have to wash my face, but it would help but I am getting more bumps from using the safe cleanser that aren’t supposed to clog pores. I feel like my skin does better without face wash. Is this possible? but they did prescribe me adapalene to use every day and I’ve already been using that for two or three months now, but in the beginning, I built my tolerance up like you said.
