@mothershipsg: Speaking in Parliament on Sep. 10, Workers’ Party (WP) chief Pritam Singh said the party supports raising MPs’ salaries in light of inflation, as well as Prime Minister Lawrence Wong’s decision not to increase the salaries of ministers beyond up to 9%. However, Singh said the WP continues to have a differing view with how ministerial salaries are benchmarked. He reiterated the party’s position that ministers’ pay should be pegged to the salary of a senior public civil servant, rather than the median income of Singapore’s top 1,000 earners. #mothershipparliament

Due to inflation MPs salary who have high salary need to increase🤌🏽🤦🏽‍♂️than how about most citizens with minimum or low wage waiting for their increase of pay only god knows when??
