Instant arousal confirmed The seven forms of lightsaber combat in Star Wars each emphasize different fighting philosophies and techniques. Form I, Shii-Cho, is the oldest and focuses on basic attacks, defense, and disarming opponents. Form II, Makashi, is a precise and elegant style designed primarily for lightsaber dueling, relying on controlled movements and accuracy. Form III, Soresu, is a highly defensive form that emphasizes patience, tight movements, and protecting against attacks, making it effective for prolonged battles. Form IV, Ataru, is an aggressive and acrobatic style that uses speed, jumps, and spins to overwhelm opponents. Form V, Shien/Djem So, focuses on strength and counterattacks, allowing practitioners to block an enemy’s attack and immediately turn it against them. Form VI, Niman, combines elements of the previous forms into a balanced and adaptable style. It is often favored by Jedi who need versatility rather than specializing in one particular area of combat. Form VII, Juyo/Vaapad, is the most aggressive and difficult form, using unpredictable movements and intense attacks; Vaapad, its advanced variant, requires exceptional control because it can bring a fighter dangerously close to the darker emotions associated with the Force. Together, the seven forms demonstrate different approaches to lightsaber combat, ranging from defensive patience and technical precision to acrobatics and relentless aggression. - @jarjarsclappedcheeks
