you don't know how many times I have hiked to cross country from Idaho Idaho Idaho falls Idaho to Boise Idaho to Portland Oregon to San Francisco California to LA with hard to eat maybe one or two rides for 10 or 20 miles and I've frozen and I've done everything else in the middle of the winter I've hiked in the middle of the summer I've gone from the inland of California highway 5 to the coast highway 1 down to LA had to sleep at night freezing no food no water and I survived it all everything with out ever been able to do anything like you guys are talking about and I survived it nobody on survival Siri shows has ever been able to do anything like I've done none of these guys have the wherewithal to live without all the s*** that they talk about how they have because they are a TV show and they are stars of the TV show and they will never be subject to real terror of being alone in the wilderness I did that most of my life I'm the most survival person there ever was nobody could ever live like I did none of you all of your fake none of you are real the only one ever is me and I'm 67 years old paralyzed for almost 13 years now and I've even survived that and now I'm strong enough to do 400 pushups to the time as long as I got enough food but then I can kick you and you in the teeth along with 320 of your buddies before at least before I stop to rest so you want to talk about survival this is the truth about survival none of you could ever imagine being part of cuz that's what I had to do in my life none of you all of yours are fake

A good what for! :
Stay dry all the time! If you need dry clothes, start a fire and dry them. Never hike without a lighter inside a ziplok bag or 2, in separate pockets.
