If you lost the chip, the car no go start, experienced it in 2016 when I was using EOD, I gave someone the key to go and help me bring something from the car, the key was broken, that was how the person mistakenly drop the key and the chip in it was no where to be found, I thought it was the fault from the car, we did everything we can he no gree start, I was so angry, car I drove there without any issue, until another chip was programmed, my car spent 5days where it happened..

There was a time my key got broken from the fob that I had to use a plier to hold it in the ignition before starting. It won't start until I hold the Fob(black thing) very close to the ignition 😃 Honda security is mad.

When I bought my 2008 Accord, I didn't know anything about cars. I opened the key to remove the nonsense they put inside it because the panel wasn't there. Then I saw this small black thing and I removed it as well. Thank God I kept it because I like keeping things. My car didn't start because of that chip I removed. Somehow, I put it back even though I still didn't know, and boom, my car was working again. Lol.
