I didn’t want the title as badly as I wanted TIME. I didn’t want to miss mornings, pickups, school events, sick days, random Tuesday afternoons and all the tiny moments nobody warns you will become the big ones. And for a while, I felt guilty for that. How could I work so hard for something and then admit it wasn’t the life I wanted anymore? But becoming a mom didn’t make me less ambitious. It changed what I was ambitious FOR. I wanted to provide AND be present. I wanted my girls to grow up thinking Mama being there was normal, not something that happened when work approved it. So I stopped judging myself for wanting something different. I prayed for wisdom. I explored another path. I learned new skills. And I started building a life that actually matched the woman motherhood had turned me into. 🤍 You are allowed to be grateful for the woman you used to be AND make different choices for the woman you are now. If motherhood completely changed what “success” means to you too, comment SAME.🤍 #ChristianMom #Motherhood #WorkingMom #PresentMama #FaithOverFear
