Playing off the home's Victorian charm, the garden needed to feel distinctly modern - not replacing the architecture's character, but building on it. A sleek doorway structure anchors the transition from front to side garden, introducing contemporary hardscaping while drawing you further in to explore. Through the beautiful garden, canopied by mature Pyrus calleryana trees, Hosta 'Halcyon' and Asplenium bulbiferum fill the space below; the transition gets better with each step. Agastache 'Sweet Lili' and Poa labillardieri 'Eskdale' bring a layered planting palette to the rear garden, while an existing Lagerstroemia stands as the true focal point, its pink blooms framing the entrance to the outdoor entertaining area.
