@ouroadstars: (cr to owners of the clips) i honestly don’t even know where to start, but no one owes the public a relationship confirmation, especially not in a press interview. people should be allowed to share parts of their lives on their own terms, not when they’re being pressured into it. if you’ve followed them closely, you already know their relationship has been confirmed multiple times, especially by daou, and their actions have consistently spoken for themselves. that speaks far more than a single pressured answer in an interview setting. there’s a big difference between choosing to share something with fans in a comfortable, genuine space versus being asked deeply personal questions in a press environment where there’s pressure to respond immediately. those are not the same thing, and they shouldn’t be treated as if they are. they’re artists working in an industry where there’s often a lot happening behind the scenes that the public doesn’t see, and those realities can shape how and when people choose to speak. It’s also worth remembering that the industry isn’t always as openly accepting toward queer people as some might think, and that context matters. if someone still sees it as “fan service,” that’s their opinion, but if you actually knew their story, there wouldn’t even be room to doubt them. their love for each other didn’t start with fame or publicity.. it existed long before all of that. at the end of the day, they know their relationship best, and that should be respected. focus on your own favs instead of spreading misinformation or making assumptions about others.
