Marx as per usual is vague. He defines the state, then tells us we don’t need it, but also includes the functions of the state in a vague collective called the people, but fails absolutely to define it. What are you replacing the state with? The functions of the state need to be devolved somewhere. So where, and in what form.

I commented this on another video: Their point was that statelessness is not a REQUIREMENT for communism, like yes, the state obv will wither away eventually, but that’s a predicted consequence rather than a stated goal. The people who actually view abolishing the state as top priority are anarchists

So wait, it's a reification fallacy? The state is not a noun, it's the action of class conflict, so as the owning class disappears the state will briefly become inverted to a "dictatorship" if the proletariat, but this isn't a tangible thing you could point to, rather it's what occurs as a class disappears?
