also when people say this they are forgetting that value isnt just your ability to dance. his vocals are hands down not the worst in seventeen and his stage presence is incredibly unique and has a very distinct charm that I love. he is a fantastic idol, just not the strongest dancer. AND EVEN THEN his dance skills would be considered impressive in other groups.

we also have to keep in mind that prior to being a trainee, he doesn’t have a solid background in dancing as opposed to other trainees like dino who grew up dancing even before joining pledis. joshua trained to dance, he’s not a dancer who trained to be an idol.

AND! he's their rock. nearly every member has said just how good of a listener he is especially when they have problems. he's always one of their top members to call up when theyre feeling down. thats a massive role to have as well, and he does really good at it because hes one of the eldest ones but without the pressure of being leader (scoups) or the leader's pillar (jeonghan).

I literally seen a video of one time of this one girl complaining how she doesn’t like him anymore because he’s getting more attractive and because he’s more attractive his orange chains to be like I know I’m better than you or something. She said whatever I don’t remember exactly what she said, but what she said was completely stupid. She was basically saying because he’s getting prettier his demeanor changed and that he thinks he’s better than everybody else. First of all he never said that just because he wants to work out does not mean he’s trying to be better than anybody, and everyone was dragging her in the comments, cause what she was saying literally did not make any sense.

the funniest thing about this is while he may be the weakest dancer, he definitely is not the weakest vocalist in the group. he is quite literally one of the better vocalists among them but it gets overlooked because people only look at dancing
