Lorelei was always an insufferable spoiled little brat of a daughter that did not cherish her parents and acted like she wasn’t as rich as she was. All throughout this TV show I saw her parents trying to get close to her and all she did was make excuses. Try to cut her visit short use Rory as an excuse to leave the house early sometimes. She was a horrible daughter. And a horrible character.

Say what you will about the revival but this is great writing. Makes sense for both their characters, sets up Loreli’s arc for the entire year, comes full circle at the end. It hurts but it’s character-driven and real.
