I’ve wanted to do content since I was a teen, I’m now 29. I decided to take the leap because I’ll only live once and I truly believe if I put my all into it I could make it! Despite feeling anxious, nervous, embarrassed, uncertain and awkward ….I just hit post. I’ve done 4 videos now and I even went live yesterday 😁 (really proud of myself, none of this came easy)!!! Honestly my videos aren’t gaining much attention right now but I’m learning. I’m really surprised in how much I’ve pushed myself out of my comfort zone and how it’s starting to feel at least a little better. The important thing is that I’m doing what I’ve always wanted to do and now allowing the fear or doubt to cripple me. There will be no perfect time to start, you just have to do it. & It is very time consuming to film, edit, especially the editing (I’m learning as I go) but it feels discouraging that I put in a lot of effort to not get the results (followers, likes, engagement etc) but I’m quite sure I’ll get there as long as I keep going and giving it my all. what helped me a lot was pretending i’m filming for my family since i used to do shopping haul vids to my tia and sister so much. so i would pretend im vlogging or gonna send them a video. with time i was able to grow more confident with filming and they still watch but it’s nice to see how much ive grown!
