The Ahmadu Bello scenario wasn’t so great. Different regions like the igbos for instance can argue that elites in the north were instrumental to the starvation of children in igbo land during the war which led to kwashiorkor and the rest. We should at all cost endeavor to do away from the tragedies of the past and look at the present day Nigeria and what must be done to salvage it. Matter of fact speaking about the ahmadu bello incident sounds so tribalistic. It’s like saying because an igbo man such as Obi is in the race, the north has to resent him on the grounds of previous events, wooo…. Im just in my feelings.
