@c5news: A “hero" passenger came to the rescue of easyJet staff after crowds of travellers began shouting at them at London Gatwick Airport yesterday. The chaos followed a major Nats (National Air Traffic Services) technical issue on Tuesday, which saw more than 2,000 flights to and from the UK cancelled or delayed. When Kurtis Toy, 36, saw just two overwhelmed easyJet staff members left to deal with the massive Nats fallout, he decided to step in. The tech and cyber security CEO acted as a human megaphone to bark out the latest travel updates and manage hundreds of irritable passengers. He had been stranded for four hours after being removed from his flight from Gatwick to Aberdeen because it had been cancelled. #5news #gatwick #nats
