At some point or another in the cycle, we're bound to get run over." Such words illuminate how pain and suffering stem from our resistance to the natural progression of life, the constant ebb and flow of change. However, this doesn't suggest we should adopt a detached or indifferent stance. Instead, it's about engaging intelligently, acknowledging the aspects of life we can't control and allowing them to simply exist, to flow, to move. By cultivating real presence, balance, and appreciation, we can perceive all aspects of our experience, not just that which we don't yet have.
