Mr. Zhang Maoming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal, visited the disaster-hit area of Nuwakot, where he met with representatives of the Nepali Army, local authorities, volunteers and affected communities. He also toured resettlement centers for affected residents and expressed his regards and appreciation to the Chinese tunnel rescue experts working in the disaster area. Ambassador Zhang Maoming greatly commended the search and rescue operations as well as the disaster relief efforts of all sectors of Nepal, emphasizing that China always stands firmly with Nepal and will join hands with Nepal to rebuild our homes.
