@drdawnmandeville: Replying to @kittycat Postmenopausal bleeding is never something to just "watch and wait" on your own — but there's an important nuance many women aren't told. If you've recently started or changed your dose of estrogen/hormone therapy, some breakthrough bleeding in the first 3–6 months is common as your body adjusts. That does NOT mean you skip getting checked. Any bleeding after menopause — whether you're on HT or not — deserves a call to your provider. Most of the time it's nothing serious. But we only know that after we look. Don't sit with the worry. Get checked! #HormoneTherapy #PostmenopausalBleeding #WomensHealth #MenopauseSupport #fyp

how often do you see women that dont fit into the 12 months period free box? I bled 10 days after the 1 year mark, and it felt very much like a period. obgyn did the work up (ultrasound and uterine biopsy), with negative results. I never see any menopause specialists talk about us that get a period beyond 12 months. my obgyn said it happens, but nobody talks about it!

I just had ovaries removed 9/2 and there is SO MUCH to consider. Meeting with my OB tomorrow to discuss HRT. I’m only 46 and had hysterectomy in 2018. No symptoms yet other than sleep is a mess. UGH

I had to slowly increase my dose as it took a bit for my body to adjust-once I slowed down my bleeding and cramps stopped💚
