TBH… (and this might be a complete shocker because hello, I’m a style strategist 😂) but I never really appreciated how DIFFERENT shopping feels when you’re dressing for a big event. Because regular me is very much: Does this fit my style? What am I wearing it with? Will I wear it again? Does this actually fill a gap? Very needs-to-check-multiple-boxes. 🙃 But then NYFW is on the calendar and suddenly I’m dipping into @ALICE + OLIVIA like… “Welllll I DO need a little more whimsy, sooo...” 👀 I still want whatever I wear to be something I can wear more than once (non-negotiable in my book) — but Fashion Week feels like the perfect excuse to have some fun.
