Over the past few weeks, especially from the comments on some of my posts, I’ve realized how many people quietly doubt themselves. I’ve seen women say they’re too old, too heavy, not attractive enough, or that a man they’re interested in would never want them anyway. Please don’t do that to yourself. Getting older doesn’t make you less deserving of love. Your body changing doesn’t make you less beautiful, and being single doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. We all get older, but there’s a part of us that doesn’t have an expiration date. The part that still knows how to love, care, laugh, connect and be there for somebody. And I want to say something else because of what I’ve been seeing here on TikTok. I get messages from women saying things like “I know you probably have plenty of women talking to you,” or assuming I’m here looking for women. Honestly, I’m not. I’m perfectly comfortable being friends with a woman, checking on her, listening to her or giving honest advice when she needs it. It doesn’t always have to mean something romantic. As for why I don’t always respond to messages, TikTok has currently limited some of my messaging features, so I can’t reply the way I normally would. I’m just leaving it alone and waiting to see what TikTok does about it. But there’s another reason I wanted to make this post. The fake accounts are getting ridiculous. I’ve blocked a lot of accounts using my pictures, and I’ve seen fake accounts showing up in my comments and interacting with women. Some people have even been contacted by accounts pretending to be me. So please, slow down before you trust somebody you meet online. I’m not saying don’t talk to people. People really do meet genuine friends, fall in love and even find lifelong partners online. That happens. But loneliness can make us ignore things we normally wouldn’t. When you’re missing companionship, it’s easy to see someone attractive, feel that connection and start opening up before you’ve really established who that person is. Don’t give somebody your trust, personal information, money or your entire personal story just because they know how to say the right things. And this isn’t just for women. Men need to hear it too. You deserve to be loved without having to prove that you’re young enough, thin enough, attractive enough or good enough. Stay safe. Stay smart. And please don’t ever let loneliness convince you that you have to settle for the first person who gives you attention. ❤️ #bulecollar #fyp #dogdad #friendships #staysafe
