It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years. It really doesn’t seem that long. I can still remember so much about that morning, that day, and the days that followed. Those of you who worked with me at the airport back then probably remember it just as clearly. It was one long, crazy, scary and sobering day. But one thing I’ll never forget is how everyone came together. Customers, employees, coworkers and the company itself all worked together to help get people home to their loved ones during such a tragic and uncertain time. 25 years later, we are still losing people who jumped in to help in the aftermath and later became sick because of their exposure. The effects of that day are still very real for so many families. In summer 2025, I finally had the honor of visiting the 9/11 Memorial in New York City. The feelings hit me the moment I arrived. Standing there brought back memories and emotions that are difficult to put into words. 25 years later, I still remember exactly where I was and how that day felt. Remembering all of the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who stepped up when they were needed most. 🇺🇸 We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙 #september11
