@kabelomabalane: Turning 50 this year has made me stop and really look back not just at the years, but at the people who have filled them. And when I think about how many people have contributed to the person I am today, it’s almost overwhelming. Looking back, I realise that none of us really becomes who we are on our own. And if there is one thing I know now that I may not have understood at 20, it’s this: Everybody needs somebody 🎶 So as I step into 50, I find myself less interested in counting the years and more interested in counting the people the ones who stayed, the ones who left, the ones I loved, the ones I lost, the ones I hurt, and the ones who hurt me.
