60 years old and Amazon is the only company that was willing to bring me on. I am a white badge but this job saved me from being homeless, the anytime pay helped pay half my rent so landlord wouldn't throw me out.. the job does and will get to you but best thing to do is go in work go home , try not to get involved with other ppl most love drama.

Amazon has way too many benefits not to take advantage of. Yes you will be tired, but let them pay for school and teach you something new... as much as you want. Benefits are great too! It's all about your priorities, your ambitions and your work ethic.

I can definitely speak on this. I started my Amazon journey as an AA, and there were times when I questioned why I should keep trying after repeatedly going for my next promotion and not getting selected. It took one opportunity—launching a new site—to give me the chance to stand out, prove myself, and earn that next step in my career. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to launch eight sites and take on new challenges that have continued to push me outside of my comfort zone. Today, I’m proud to say that I’m working in an Amazon corporate office. Looking back, I’m grateful I didn’t give up after those initial setbacks. I needed to hear this I’m working so hard towards my goals being at Amazon 3rd shift plus taking care of 3 kids picking up extra shifts.. but I gotta remember I goals to accomplish this isn’t forever
