@adaptimusprime: Alright y'all, how'd I do? Is my Ender within acceptable quality limits compared to the P1S? Looks like I went a little overboard attempting to get this filament printing with less shine on the Ender. Larger prints on the P1S come out matte so that's what I was trying to achieve. Judging by things I can tone my acceleration and speeds down (which should help our 3d benchy text). It'll also promote a glossier finish. So long as I can get the vfa test to show me speeds I can print at 1k or 500 acceleration without artifacts, this should be possible. Currently it's running at 2k and 140mm/s. Little fast for how big it is but it's nice to see it can do it with some exceptions if I want a different finish. We'll go through one more set of test and tune at 1k acceleration to see if we can improve our benchy text. If that fails we'll probably give it one more shot at stock acceleration (500). But I think we're rapidly approaching a point of diminishing returns. I promise I'll stop and move on. But it's really nice learning how all the different settings impact overall speeds, layer time, fan speed, etc. It's also nice being able to use the different previews to help dial in a particular surface quality or sheen. #3dprinting #ender3max #p1s
