Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: Around 4:09 a.m. on October 26, 2024, Officer Donna Zorbas of the Wauconda Police Department rushed to a car crash on Highway 12. It happened near the Route 176 overpass. She pulled up and saw a 2016 Buick that had slammed into guardrails. The car then plunged into an embankment between northbound and southbound lanes. Airbags had popped. The vehicle was wrecked beyond repair. The driver was 21-year-old Britny Murrieta. Three passengers rode with her. All were under 21. While talking to Britny, Officer Zorbas smelled alcohol. She spotted signs of impairment too. First responders checked Britny out. Inside the ambulance, Britny confessed to drinking earlier that night. She claimed she could still drive fine. Each passenger admitted to booze at a Halloween party. Open alcohol containers filled the car. The crash, alcohol smell, impairment clues, and open cans gave Officer Zorbas cause. She arrested Britny for suspected DUI. Handcuffs went on. Britny rode in the patrol car to Wauconda Police Department. The three others went there too. They got court summonses later for underage drinking. At the station, Britny agreed to field sobriety tests. She mentioned being five months pregnant. Next came a PBT breath test. It showed 0.14% BAC. That's almost twice the 0.08% limit. Officers read her the Warning to Motorist form. She okayed breath samples. Processing done, they released her. Court summonses awaited: Driving under the influence - alcohol (625 ILCS 5/11-501(a)(2)) Driving under the influence - BAC .08 or more (625 ILCS 5/11-501(a)(1)) Transportation or possession of open alcohol (625 ILCS 5/11-502(a)) Failure to reduce speed (625 ILCS 5/11-601(a)) Contributing to the criminal delinquency of a minor (720 ILCS 5/12C-30(a)) 0:28 why are you drinking if you’re pregnant should have been the question. 23:26 cop did say it in an a hole way though 😂 47:53 isn’t that type of sniffling associated with snow? 53:12 lol 59:00 giving her bad advice and her personal opinions and advice under her position as a police officer. 1:39:43 It’s so weird to me that they don’t use ink for fingerprints anymore If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
