@alyssahartwig: 1K 😭 a Facebook group I started 6 months ago selling $3 keychains + today we hit 1,000 members. I am in shock, thankful and so excited for what has happened and what is yet to come. during these last 6 months of being a small business owner, I’ve: - finished my first club volleyball coaching season - maintained a full time corporate job in the tech industry - I’ve ran this entire business by myself with some help from family at some events - I’ve been the one behind every mistake, market, vendor show, private event, hat bars, ordering, invoicing, social media and production - I’ve sold over 1,000 products - I was asked to be a vendor and participated for 3-days at the Linn County Fair - I have been asked to set up at the Waterloo Cattle Congress - I was emailed by The Gazette to be a sponsor and vendor at Festival of Trees - I have had to turn down multiple events due to already being booked - small businesses in the community continue to take a chance on me to bring some fun to their own company events - I’ve lost 50 pounds I know sometimes these posts are annoying but this business quite literally saved my mental health 6 months ago. if you’d like to join the fun + catch some of my next drops, check me out on FB: ak collective co.
