Now they stick booster packs behind glass cabinets and limit how many you can purchase. I remember you could buy base set packs in a petrol station for £1.50-£2.50 a pack, the regret I have about not buying a whole box to sell in the present is massive.

Has someone Who has come back to the hobby again after years i have to say this.. it was 1000× better back then and its not Even close. no scalpers no overpriced bullcrap no experience of going into a store and there is nothing on the shelf its was awesome and now not so much.

Ngl back then not a lot of people cared for pokemon when it first released. Also purchasing power has now changed, I remember back then it was expensive for what it was. It was more of a luxury than packs are now
