people need to get a clue...you need a metal contact for there to be a continuation of electricity. it's a plastic plug, like the kind for child proofing.

Beautiful idea but This isn’t a safe way to hide an outlet. You’re using a plug as a picture hanger and gluing it to a combustible frame. If the frame gets bumped or the plug gets pulled loose, it could cause arcing/overheating. A proper blank/decorative outlet cover is the safe fix.

I would still put mounting putty on one of the opposite corners so it distributes the weight more evenly
