Ugh. I mean, yes about not seeking vengeance. But seeking JUSTICE is nothing wrong. In fact, seeking justice is necessary to keep society running. We've already seen so much deterioration in decency and abiding sensible(!) laws in the last years, oftentimes for some perceived "freedom" for a single person at the detriment of others who get no choice in the matter. (Look at how the anti-vaxxers and mask deniers behaved during the pandemic, look at Trump trying to blackmail NATO into what could end in WW3,...) This is not about fighting back, this is just about making sure the law and internationally shared values aren't tainted, watered down or ignored. I wish they would have showed middle ground between seeking vengeance and having undue mercy. (In a way the grandma was on that middle ground, but at least in this clip we don't see her stance in court.)
