From running the place with her sister, to the fact that both of them are practicing lawyers, to the reason they opened here in the first place. Her words: this whole Maryland axis has not had a proper amala spot in over ten years, so they decided to build one themselves. And they did it well. Proper abula, soft amala, and a stew that carries the whole plate. Their ofada rice is also some of the best we have had, served the way ofada is meant to be, with leaves.
