@sarahsred7: 1 year ago today Charlie Kirk was killed in cold blood, in front of 4000 of my community members, at my school, visiting the chapter I started. And I'll never get over it as long as I live. I will never forget those who celebrated or even suggest he deserved it. I'll never forget those who immediately believed in conspiracy and attacked his widow and his friends. I'll never forget my grieving community, the shock, the horror. I'll never forget the phone call I got from a dear friend as he literally ran from the scene sobbing. However, something emblazoned on my heart since then is the person I became because of Charlie Kirk. I met Charlie and was inspired by Charlie before the social media fame, before the explosion of TPUSA. I'll never forget when I landed in Dallas Texas, not knowing a single person, and seeing Charlie run on stage promising that there will be "no safe spaces and no trigger warnings and no "free speech zones" at this conference. The cheering knowing I wasn't alone anymore in my beliefs about freedom the Constitution and the United States. I'll never forget him at UVU in 2019, happy and excited to see so many turning out in support of him. I'll never forget hugging him on stage after introducing him and the "excellent job" whispered to me. I'll never forget, 4 years later backstage at AmericaFest where he said, "of course I remember you! You're Sarah from UVU, thank you for all your hard work and everything you're doing for the movement." The friendships I have, even to this day because of Charlie Kirk. The confidence in my beliefs. The many adventures of my 20s were because of Charlie Kirk. The way I conduct myself and my life because of Charlie's influence. I know what he would want today is for us to proclaim our love for our Savior Jesus Christ. I know there is a God in heaven who created you and loves you. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for you. He loves you and wants only the best for you. I will never forget Charlie Kirk. Thank you Charlie Take up your cross, and Follow Jesus Christ.
